St Mirren have signed Jamie McCart on an emergency loan from Celtic.
With Harry Davis and Gary MacKenzie still injured, the defender will provide cover for the Buddies after joining for 93 days days from the Ladbrokes Premiership side.
20 year-old McCart made one appearance for the Hoops last season and also had a loan spell at Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
Speaking on the signing, manager Jack Ross said: "Jamie is a player I've known and watched for a while. One of the biggest advantages is that he has experienced first team football in the second half of last season at Inverness. I'm looking forward to him getting involved with us and I think it's a good fit for us."
Jamie told stmirren.com: "I'm excited to be here and get the opportunity for some more first team football. Hopefully I can come in and prove myself in the team and progress as a player while I'm here."
