St Mirren are delighted to announce that Jack Baird has signed an extension to his current deal that sees him contracted to Saints until summer 2019.
The Buddies defender has been in impressive form this season and recently scored his first league goal of the campaign in Friday night’s win over Dunfermline in the Ladbrokes Championship.
Speaking on the extension, St Mirren manager Jack Ross said: "I'm pleased that Jack has extended his contract with us.
"He's still a young man who has really grown as a player over the last year or so and he's someone who can still get better.
"We are an attacking team and our attacking players probably get most credit, but you can't forget the job the defence has done this season and Jack has played a major part in that.
"So we're delighted to get the deal done and I'm sure he's delighted to get things tied up too."
