A bad week of snowfall has disrupted the entire football calendar in Scotland, but Gavin Reilly says he is focused on getting back to business this weekend.
St Mirren are back in action against at the Paisley 2021 Stadium on Saturday as they host Dunfermline Athletic.
And the 24 year-old striker is looking for a 12th home league win of the season as The Buddies pursuit for title glory continues.
Speaking to stmirren.com, Reilly said: "It's hard at this time of the year, I don't think anyone expected the weather to be as bad as it was - everyone was just shocked.
"It was not just our game, it was all over Scotland. So everyone's had a week off, but we're looking forward to getting back to playing this Saturday, get a full week's training and hopefully another three points."
This will be the fourth and final time Saints will play Dunfermline this season, having won the previous two of the three meetings by a one goal margin.
The first game between the two sides was one to forget for Jack Ross' side, as they went down to nine men and were defeated 3-0 at East End Park.
The other two occasions saw The Buddies win 1-0 and 2-1, including a goal of the season contender from Cammy Smith in the latter.
But Reilly knows it is likely to be another close encounter on Saturday.
It's another game," he said. "And at this stage of the season - we're top of the league and 8 points clear - it's just about taking each game as it comes. I don't think they've picked up many wins recently - but they are a good team at the end of the day, they have done well.
"We know it's going to be hard, especially being at home. Teams tend to come and sit in, with the likes of the Brechin game last week. It's another game we're looking forward to and because we're at home, our home record has been good this season. So hopefully we can keep that up."
Reilly has been in fine goal scoring form this season, with 21 goals from 34 appearances for The Saints.
The striker hasn't scored for Saints against the side he spent last season on loan to.
The young forward isn't concerned though, and believes the most important thing is that the team is winning.
"Everytime you play you want to score, regardless of who it is against. I mean I've been keeping note that I haven't been scoring, but at the end of the day it's not all about that. You still have to put in a shift and work hard for the team. But it would be nice to get another goal on Saturday."
"You've just got to keep working away, and if the chances come they come. But if not, you've just got to keep making sure you're doing enough to make sure you stay in the team. We've been doing well the last couple of weeks so hopefully we can just keep that going."
