St Mirren Football Club is delighted to announce that Kyle Magennis has signed a one-year contract extension which ties him to the club until June 2021.
A St Mirren Youth Academy graduate, the midfielder made his first team debut as a half time substitute against Hibernian at Easter Road aged 18.
Kyle established himself as a first team regular and won the official St Mirren Young Player of the Year award in both 2016/17 and 2017/18.
Speaking to stmirren.com, Saints manager Alan Stubbs said: "I think it was important from the club's point of view.
"He's obviously done really well and I'm looking forward to actually seeing him play.
"His performances last season have caught a lot of people's attention and it's important that we get our better young players tied down to secure them."
The club can also confirm that it last night reached an agreement with Inverness Caledonian Thistle that will see Brian Rice join the Buddies as Alan Stubbs' assistant manager.
