The St Mirren U20s were left disappointed after a 5-1 defeat at the hands of Dunfermline at New Central Park this afternoon.
Dunfermline raced into an early lead and were 2-0 up in just 12 minutes thanks to strikes from Spark and Moffat. The hosts went further in front just before the hour mark when Galloway made it 3-0.
Calvin Orsi pulled a goal back for the Saints on the 66th minute but it wasn't enough to get the young Buds back into the game as Moffat grabbed two quick goals less than 10 minutes later to seal his hat-trick and consign St Mirren to defeat.
Next up in the Development League for the Saints is a home game against Celtic on Monday 24th October.
