The St Mirren Reserves picked up three SPFL Reserve League points yesterday following a thumping 6-0 win over Queen of the South.
Allan McManus' young Buddies were 3-0 up inside the first 15 minutes with Cammy Breadner opening the scoring on five minutes, quickly followed up by a double from striker Josh Jack.
Ethan Erhahon's cross-cum-shot made it 4-0 on 29 minutes before two goals in quick succession from Oan Djorkaeff and Jay Henderson deep into the second-half rounded out the scoring and moved Saints up to fourth place in the SPFL Reserve League.
Following the win Head of Youth, Allan McManus said: "It was a really pleasing team performance.
"The boys were at it today and created loads of opportunities and were probably unlucky not to have scored more than they did."
