St Mirren's 2-1 win over Ayr United on Sunday sent the Saints through to the semi-final of the IRN-BRU Cup. The draw on Monday paired the Buddies with Welsh opposition with the game scheduled to take place on the weekend of 18/19 February 2017. Scott Gallacher started the match in goals and talked about how he wants to take advantage of his opportunity to become the Saints number one goalkeeper.
Meanwhile, midfielder Stephen Mallan said it was great for the team to give the supporters something to cheer about with the win over Ayr and hopes the side can take confidence heading into the match against Dunfermline.
