St Mirren season ticket holders will be able to watch all home games online at no extra cost if the season starts behind closed doors or in a socially distanced stadium, following an agreement with Sky and the SPFL.
Wednesday’s announcement means that clubs, for the first time, will be able to show home matches live via their own websites to supporters living in the UK and Ireland.
The agreement means that the only way to guarantee you see every minute of action at St Mirren Park next season is by purchasing a season ticket.
We will have full details of how this will work in the coming weeks.
St Mirren Chief Executive Tony Fitzpatrick said: "First and foremost, I would like to thank everyone who has purchased a season ticket at this time – over 1500 have been sold so far. While I understand many fans are facing financial uncertainty at this time, I would encourage those who can afford it to Be In That Number and consider doing the same.
"We are still hopeful that we will be able to have supporters safely back at St Mirren Park before too long, but it is important for us meantime to have the option of making matches available to our season ticket holders to watch live while social distancing measures are in place."
