St Mirren travel to Hamilton on Saturday with the chance to create history.
A win for Saints would see us secure our first-ever top six finish in the current league setup whilst also guaranteeing our highest top-flight finish since 1985.
In a season like no other, we asked supporters to #BeInThatNumber. You have done that – showing incredible backing and loyalty to the club. While we would love nothing more than for you to be there on Saturday as the 12th person unfortunately that is not possible.
St Mirren Chief Executive Tony Fitzpatrick said: "Your support of the club this season has been truly humbling. We know how difficult it is for our supporters not to be able to attend matches and cheer the players on, especially in what has been a very good season for us on the park.
"We hope brighter days are on the way and it won’t be too long until you can be with us again. However, the message from the club is clear. Please stay safe and stay at home."
Saints manage Jim Goodwin said: "I would like to thank you all for the great support you have given myself, my staff and my team throughout these really difficult times.
"We know you haven't been able to be here with us throughout it but we have certainly felt your support from afar.
"We have got to go to Hamilton this weekend to guarantee ourselves a top six spot which would be a great achievement for us all. As much as we would love to have you with us on the day it's not possible. We would urge you all to stay safe, stay home and support the Buddies from your couch."
