St Mirren will face Dunfermline Athletic, Stenhousemuir, Partick Thistle and Dumbarton in Group H of the 2021/22 Premier Sports Cup group stage.
Saints were top seeds in the South Section of this afternoon's draw.
Group winners will qualify for the round of 16. They will be joined by the the three best runners-up along with Rangers, Celtic, Hibernian, Aberdeen and St Johnstone.
Fixtures dates and venues will be confirmed in due course.
Group stage games are scheduled for the weekend of July 10/11, midweek of July 13/14, weekend of July 17/18, midweek of July 20/21 and weekend of July 24/25 subject to live TV selections.
