St Mirren Football Club is delighted to confirm that Scott Tanser has agreed a contract extension which ties him to the club until summer 2024.
The English full-back joined Saints in June 2021 after spending four years at fellow cinch Premiership side St Johnstone. Initially penning a one-year deal with the option of a further year, Scott has now agreed to extend his stay in Paisley for the next two seasons.
In his debut season at St Mirren, Tanser has made 35 appearances with two goals and four assists in the cinch Premiership.
Manager Stephen Robinson said: "Scott is one of the best left-backs in this league.
"He provides a real threat going forward with his deliveries and is a natural left-sided player so brings us balance. We're delighted to have him staying with us.
"We're in negotiations with numerous players both at the club and elsewhere as we look to add to what is a good core of players."
