St Mirren Football Club is pleased to confirm that Peter Urminsky has signed a one-year extension to his current contract which keeps him at the club until summer 2024.
The six-foot-five Slovakian goalkeeper joined Saints in January 2020 and went on to have loan spells with Ayr United and Stenhousemuir before making his first-team debut in July 2022 against Cowdenbeath in the Viaplay Cup.
Peter made further starts against Airdrieonians and FC Edinburgh and has been on the bench for all our cinch Premiership matches this season as backup to Trevor Carson.
Manager Stephen Robinson said: "Peter has been excellent any time he has come into the team.
"He's got real stature, a good kick on him and he's getting better and better with every training session and I think what we have on our hands is an asset.
"He's someone we were very keen to secure on a new contract."
Peter follows Greg Kiltie and Luke Kenny who have also signed extensions with the club this week.
