Loan Watch: 16/01/2023

A number of our younger players are currently out on loan at clubs across Scotland. Here's a look at how some of them got on at the weekend.

Jay Henderson played 83 minutes as Inverness Caledonian Thistle played out a 0-0 draw with cinch Championship league leaders Queen's Park. Inverness are now unbeaten in their three matches since Jay joined the club in late December and sit just three points off a promotion play-off spot.

Dean McMaster was a late substitute for Airdrieonians in their 1-1 draw with Kelty Hearts at New Central Park on Saturday. Lewis Jamieson was an unused substitute as he makes his way back from an injury.

Kieran Offord was an unused substitute for Alloa Athletic in their 2-1 win over FC Edinburgh. Brian Rice's side stay in fourth place in cinch League One and move to within three points of third placed FC Edinburgh.

Ewan Thomson played the full 90 minutes as Cowdenbeath got their 2023 off to a winning start - defeating University of Stirling 2-0 at Central Park. Aiden Gilmartin was an unused substitute for the Blue Brazil.

Gavin Gallagher was also in Lowland League action. The St Mirren Youth Academy midfielder played the full 90 minutes for Dalbeattie Star in their 6-1 loss to Lowland League leaders Rangers B.
