St Mirren Football Club can confirm that Youth Academy graduate Aiden Gilmartin has agreed a one-year contract extension which keeps him at the club until summer 2024.
The 17-year-old made his first-team debut on the final day of last season as a substitute in our 0-0 draw with Aberdeen at Pittodrie.
The forward then spent the first part of this season on loan to Lowland League side Cowdenbeath where he scored five goals before being recalled in January.
Manager Stephen Robinson said: "Aiden is a young player with great potential.
He is big and strong with good pace and has been on loan at Cowdenbeath where he scored goals and gained valuable experience.
"He has been training with us all year while getting game time as well on loan. He adds to a good core of younger boys along with Fraser Taylor and Luke Kenny who have already signed new deals."
