St Mirren Football Club is delighted to announce that Declan John has agreed a two-year contract that sees him stay with Saints until summer 2027.
The Welsh full-back joined the club in November on an initial short-term deal before extending until summer 2025 in December.
The 29-year-old made his debut in November and has since made 12 appearances for Stephen Robinson's men, starting our last six matches in all competitions as well as scoring his first Saints goal at home to Celtic.
Speaking to stmirren.com, Declan said: "I'm delighted.
"My contract was up at the end of the season so it's nice to have it signed and I can look forward to the next two years at the club.
I've really enjoyed it and that's one of the main reasons for wanting to continue my team here. The boys have been brilliant, it's a really good changing room. We've been playing well and we've got to take that into the next three games now.
"It took me two or three games to get up to speed as I hadn't played much football before that. But I feel like I've got my fitness up now and I'll try to keep that going as best as I can."

Manager Stephen Robinson added: "We're very pleased to get it over the line.
Declan was short of fitness when he joined, but he played at high levels and we're starting to see that quality come through.
"We're delighted to have Declan signed and hopefully it's one of a few in the coming weeks."
