St Mirren are delighted to announce that Kyle Magennis has signed a new three-year contact with the club - a deal that sees Magennis committed to the Buddies until 2020.
The 18 year-old made his breakthrough this season after Jack Ross became manager, first appearing against Hibernian at Easter Road in October.
He became a regular feature in the side, making 32 appearances on his way to being named the club's Young Player of the Year.
Speaking on the extension, Magennis said: "It's brilliant.
"I've been with the club for a long time and I'd just like to repay them with a few more years where I can hopefully help take them to the Premiership.
"It was an easy decision and hopefully we can start the season the way we ended it."
Jack Ross said: "It's a reflection of how happy he is at the club. For us it's a real positive sign of the feeling around the club that a young player is willing to commit for a longer period.
"He'll undoubtedly progress in his career. I know he will take it the right way and his hunger will remain the same. It's a huge boost for everybody at the club."
