The Buddies travel to Angus to face bottom side Brechin City in the Ladbrokes Championship.

Saints' last trip to Glebe Park saw Jack Ross' side run out 2-1 winners in December thanks to goals from Gavin Reilly and Cammy Smith.

During the January transfer window a number of players moved out on loan to play regular football. Here's a look at how some of them got on last weekend. 

Jordan Kirkpatrick scored for Alloa in their 3-1 win away to Albion Rovers which saw The Wasps move up to third in League One. Ross Stewart played his part for Jim Goodwin's side - assisting Kirkpatrick's goal and playing for 90 minutes.

Cameron MacPherson played the full 90 minutes for Stranraer as they completed an improbable comeback to defeat Arbroath 3-2. The Blues fell 2-0 behind at Gayfield in just 13 minutes, but three goals in 18 second half minutes saw Stranraer keep their faint play-off hopes alive as they moved to within eight points of the Red Litchies. 

Robbie Leitch played 70 minutes on Saturday as his Queens Park side were defeated 4-0 away to league leaders Ayr United. Ex-Saint loanee Lawrence Shankland grabbed a hat-trick for the Honest Men who remain six points clear at the top. 

Forfar Athletic took a step towards survival with a 2-0 win over East Fife saw them move four points clear of the relegation play-off. Darren Whyte played the full match for the Loons, while ex-Saint Dale Hilson was on the scoresheet.

In League Two, Andrew McDonald played the full 90 minutes for play-off chasing Elgin City as they defeated Stenhousemuir 2-0 at Ochilview. City's win sees them move to within a point of fourth place Stenny.

Evan Horne also played the full match for Annan Athletic as they fell 1-0 to Peterhead at Balmoor. The Blue Toon's win saw them return to the top of the table. 

The Street Stuff Football and Dance Spring Camps timetables have now been finalised. 

Taking place at St Mirren FC's Paisley 2021 Stadium, St James Primary School and Linwood High School, all activities are FREE for young people aged 8+.

St Mirren in the Community is delighted to announce that bookings are now being taken for our ever-popular Easter Football Camps. The camps will run on both weeks of the Easter school holidays (weeks beginning Monday 2nd April and Monday 9th April) at the club's exclusive airdome at the Paisley 2021 Stadium and Lochbarr Services, Lochwinnoch. 

Players aged 3-12 years-old will be put through their paces by experienced and qualified community and academy coaches. Daily themes will cover all skills and attributes of the modern-day footballer (dribbling, passing & control, heading, finishing and flicks & tricks), all within a safe and fun learning environment. 

Participants are required to bring with them suitable indoor clothing and footwear (no metal studs or blades), shin guards and goalkeeper gloves (if appropriate) in addition to a light healthy snack and plenty of water/non-fizzy drinks. 

Places and limited and bookings can be made by downloading and completing the application form attached and returning to Ross Paterson at The Paisley 2021 Stadium. Please note that payment must be made in full at the time of booking to confirm places.

Danny Mullen says he's loving every minute of life at Saints after getting off the mark on Saturday's win over Queen of the South. 

The 22 year-old joined the club in December on an emergency loan from Livingston before signing permanently in January. 

With the team in top form over the last few months and a niggling injury playing a part, the forward has had to be patient in his pursuit of first team starts. 

But he's made his mark after starting the last two matches - picking up man of the match for his performance against Dunfermline before scoring his first goal in black and white stripes in Saturday's 3-1 win. 

I'm delighted," he told stmirren.com.

"It's great to get the chance to play in the team two weeks running. I'm enjoying every minute I've been playing and hopefully it can continue.

"It meant everything to score. It's always good to get your first goal and it's been a long time coming. It's here now and hopefully I can get many more.

"Morgy did excellent just before it and laid it on a plate. I took it first time because the keeper wasn't set and thankfully it went past him.

"It's good that I've no injury problems now and hopefully it can continue like that."

Just eight matches remain for The Buddies until the end of the season with Saturday's result helping Saints open up a 12 point gap at the top of the Ladbrokes Championship.

Mullen says the team knows what is in sight and there's real excitement around as they try to secure a return to the Premiership. 

We've got targets from now until the end of the season and the quicker we can get the points on the board the better. It was a well fought three points.

"Like I say I'm loving every minute that I'm playing for the club. When I first came in all the boys were great with me and now I feel like I've been here a long time.

"We just can't wait for the next game that comes up. There's a good buzz about the place just now."

St Mirren Football Club can confirm that Josh Todd has joined Queen of the South on an emergency loan until the end of the season.

Todd joined The Buddies in January 2017 from Dumbarton before penning a one-year contract extension last summer which expires in summer 2018. 

The 23 year-old midfielder has made 14 appearances for Saints scoring once. 

All at St Mirren wish Josh the best on his move. 

The young Saints were in action today against a strong Aberdeen side, who sit third in the SPFL Development League.

It was a fairly slow start to the game, with the first real chance falling to Matthew Reilly, who found himself in plenty of space in the six yard box, but was unable to finish. A good save from Dons' keeper Joe Lewis was enough to push the ball past the post for a corner.

It was then Aberdeen's chance to go ahead, when forward Dangana was running at the young Buddies defence and managed to get a shot across David Wilson's goal from just inside the penalty area, but the big striker dragged the ball wide. Much to the relief of Allan McManus, a let off for Saints.

The deadlock was broken on 15 minutes though, with a nice bit of play down the left wing by Matthew Reilly, the ball was put into the box and eventually broke to Conor O'Keefe who volleyed the ball assertively past Lewis in the Aberdeen goal. The midfielder, currently on loan at Annan, put the Saints in the driver seat.

However, It didn't last long, as Dangana equalised for Aberdeen. The centre forward had been causing problems, and found himself again tearing down on the St Mirren defence, but this time made no mistake as he rifled the ball past Wilson to tie the score at 1-1.

Half Time: St Mirren 1-1 Aberdeen  

The second half wasn't quite as eventful as the first, but the young Saints did plug away at Aberdeen's defence. They were mostly reduced to long range efforts and set pieces though.

Aberdeen started to come into the game more and more though and on the 59 minute mark they managed to take the lead. A good cross from the right wing found Seb Ross who rose above the Saints defence and nodded past Wilson in the St Mirren goal to give Aberdeen the lead for the first time in the game.

St Mirren strived to get back in the game. Headers from McBrearty and Glover tested Lewis, but they were unable to break down the Dons' defence and create anything clear cut.
