St Mirren chairman Gordon Scott is teaming up with Pro-Life this weekend to take part in Pedal for Scotland's Classic Challenge.
The challenge will see the chairman become a part of the 'Pro-Life Pedalers' as they set off from Glasgow Green at 9am this Sunday morning hoping to reach the finish point 45 miles away at The Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh.
Gordon said: "I'm delighted to be taking part. It was something that I was already planning to do, so, when Gayle asked me if I would be interested in representing the club and the charity, I was more than happy to do so. The event is for a good cause, so I am really looking forward to it."
Gayle Brannigan, Chief Executive of Pro-Life, is also taking part in the event to raise money for the Renfrewshire Sports Charity.
She said: "Anyone can get involved - all they need to do is contact the gym and get it sorted. The Pro-Life Pedalers will be out in force and doing everything they can to raise money for the charity."
If you wish to sponsor the chairman and the 'Pro-Life Pedalers', sponsor sheets are available at Pro-Life and can be emailed upon request. You can also donate to their JustGiving campaign by texting CYCL09 £5 (or whatever amount you wish) to 70070.
