Our Help A Buddie initiative is up and running with ACCORD Hospice, The Disability Resource Centre and Ukrainian families the recipients of our community tickets so far this season.
ACCORD were donated 15 tickets for our opening day match against Motherwell and used their tickets for patients and their families, volunteers and staff at the Hospice. We also welcomed Ukrainian families to that match in tandem with Street Stuff and the resettlement team at Renfrewshire Council.
The Disability Resource Centre in Paisley were the recipients for our match with Ross County with Trevor Carson and Peter Urminsky visiting Margaret, one of the DRC's users and a lifelong Buddie, who hadn't had the opportunity to see the team in action so far this season.
Launched in June, Help a Buddie is our brand-new initiative where St Mirren supporters have the chance to purchase and donate a match ticket for those less fortunate.
The Help a Buddie scheme will run for the entirety of the 2022/23 season and will continue to help benefit local community groups/organisations and those less fortunate supporters.
