In October 2023, St Mirren Football Club selected Home-Start Renfrewshire and Inverclyde as its strategic charity partner with our vision to place people and the local community at the centre of decision-making aligning with the ethos Home-Start Renfrewshire and Inverclyde also lives by.
Your overwhelming Home-Start support saw 180 children and 50 parents receive Christmas gifts after donations before our home match against Ross County in the William Hill Premiership last December.
In November, Home-Start Renfrewshire and Inverclyde will be hosting their first large scale event, held this year in Inverclyde and they want to reach as many people as possible. The event takes place at Greenock Town Hall on Friday 15th November. Support from and making connections with local organisations is vital to Home-Start as they look to the future, ensuring that they can reach all the families that need them.
Tickets are priced at £30 per person and include drinks reception, three course dinner, entertainment by Simply Rob and DJ – all in aid of a fantastic charity supporting children and their families.

Home-Start Renfrewshire and Inverclyde
Home-Start Renfrewshire and Inverclyde are an award winning, recognised trusted partner in the local communities we serve and have been providing support to families in Renfrewshire for over 22 years.
In the last three years alone, referrals across the service have increased by 100% in each proceeding year, a trend which is expected to continue. Referrals come from a variety of sources including from families themselves, health visitors, social workers, nurseries, and other organisations.
At present Home-Start Renfrewshire and Inverclyde are working with 170 families across both areas. The support they get ranges from intensive weekly support from a staff member to a weekly visit from a trained befriending volunteer or they may even come along to one of Home-Start's supportive in-house groups.

A small charity with a big profile, Home-Start have been fortunate enough to be able to grow over the last few years and now look to sustaining the successes they have achieved in supporting so many local families.
