Prior to Saturday's match against Ross County, Renfrewshire Foodbank will be outside of The SMiSA Stadium collecting donations.
Volunteers will be positioned outside each turnstile ready to accept donations by supporters of both St Mirren and Ross County, and we thank supporters for their generosity. There will be volunteers with collection buckets stationed all around the stadium to accept cash donations if any supporters wish to support the charity that way.
In September, supporters donated 38 full crates of food - enough for 981 meals to families and those most in need in Renfrewshire. A bucket collection also raised £1,189.76 in cash that was used by the Foodbank to purchase essential items.
Renfrewshire Foodbank are asking for supporters to donate the most in need items:
- Diluting Juice
- UHT Milk
- Tinned Fish & Meat
- Tinned Tomatoes
- Pasta Sauce
- Custard/Rice Pudding
- Tinned Potatoes
- Crisps and sweet treats
PLEASE NOTE: Fresh food can not be accepted. Please bring tins, jars, or packets.
