Stephen Robinson has issued a rallying call to supporters ahead of this weekend’s big match against Kilmarnock at the SMiSA Stadium.
A win on Saturday would guarantee a coveted first top six finish in the current league format, while a draw would also likely be enough given the superior goal difference over seventh place Livingston. A top six finish would see the Buddies secure their highest top-flight since season 1984/85.
The manager has called upon Saints supporters to turn out in their numbers once again this Saturday and show the brilliant backing they have all season.
Robinson told St Mirren TV: "This group of players have given St Mirren supporters things to shout about and results throughout the season that we haven't had in a long time.
We’re asking that they [supporters] come fill the stadium and get behind the boys.
"Nothing but positivity in the stadium will see us through and we'll create a real atmosphere to go and get the job done."
