St Mirren take on Partick Thistle on Sunday as Group H of the Premier Sports Cup draws to a close.
The Buddies defeated Stenhousemuir 3-1 on Tuesday night with Curtis Main, Kristian Dennis and Lee Erwin all scoring. That win means Saints have picked up nine points from a possible nine and sit atop the group. A win on Sunday would see Jim Goodwin's men take maximum points in the group stage for the first time and qualify for the knockout rounds.
Partick have taken six points from their opening three matches. Ian McCall's side lost 4-2 in their opening match against Dunfermline, but bounced back with wins over Stenhousemuir and Dumbarton. The Jags would have to win on Sunday to have any chance of progressing to the next round.
