Up Next: St Mirren v St Johnstone (9th Feb)

St Mirren are back under the SMiSA Stadium lights on Wednesday night for our third midweek home match in a row.

Saints are in unbeaten in their four cinch Premiership matches of 2022 - winning three and drawing one. Connor Ronan's second-half strike saw the Buddies defeat Hibernian 1-0 at Easter Road on Saturday. There have been wins against Dundee United and Aberdeen, while we were held to a 1-1 draw against Motherwell.

Jim Goodwin's side remain in ninth place in the cinch Premiership - but could potentially move up to fifth place with a win on Wednesday.

St Johnstone hauled themselves off the foot of the table with a 2-1 win over Livingston last week. Callum Davidson's side are three without defeat having also drawn 0-0 with both Dundee and Dundee United.

They sit in the relegation play-off spot - a point ahead of bottom side Dundee and seven points away from 10th place Ross County.

Previous

There has been nothing between the two Saints in their two meetings this season.

Conor McCarthy has a goal disallowed as the Paisley Saints were held to a 0-0 draw at the SMiSA Stadium in August. It was also 0-0 when Jim Goodwin's side visited McDiarmid Park in November.

Our last win against St Johnstone was at the SMiSA Stadium in December 2020 when goals from Ethan Erhahon, Lee Erwin and Jon Obika saw us beat the Perth Saints 3-2.
