The Buddies go into Saturday's match after a battling defeat against Hearts in the Scottish Cup. But Stephen Robinson picked up his first win as St Mirren manager last week when Connor Ronan scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory against Dundee in league action.
Dundee United were knocked out of the Scottish Cup following a 3-0 loss to Celtic on Monday night. Tam Courts' outfit have won one, lost one and drawn three of their last five cinch Premiership matches coming into Saturday's match.
