Saints go into Saturday's match following a 4-0 loss to Celtic at Celtic Park in the cinch Premiership.
Dundee reached the Fourth Round of the Scottish Cup with a 6-2 win over Airdrieonians at the Kilmac Stadium after extra-time in November. The Dark Blues also reached the Quarter-Final of the competition last season - exiting with a 3-0 defeat to Rangers at home.
Gary Bowyer's side haven't been in action since a 1-1 draw away to Raith Rovers on 6th January. The Dee were due to face Partick Thistle in league action and Dunfermline Athletic in the SPFL Trust trophy. But poor weather conditions, leading to an unplayable surface at the Kilmac Stadium, saw both matches postponed.
