St Mirren are aiming to secure a first top-half finish since 1984/85 when Kilmarnock visit the SMiSA Stadium on Saturday.
Saints would guarantee a top six spot with a win over Killie, while a draw would likely also be enough due to our superior goal difference on Livingston. Saints sit in fifth place going into the match - a point ahead of Hibernian in sixth and two points ahead of Livingston in seventh.
The Buddies were 10 minutes away from all but guaranteeing a top six spot last weekend with a Mark O'Hara double seeing us drawing 2-2 with Rangers at Ibrox heading into the final stretch of the match. But three quickfire goals saw the hosts win 5-2 to take all the points.
Kilmarnock will be looking to bounce back from their 4-1 defeat to league leaders Celtic at Rugby Park on Sunday. Derek McInnes' side dropped into the relegation play-off spot following Dundee United's win over Motherwell, though they sit level on points with United and just four points off ninth place St Johnstone.
