St Mirren host their first home match of the 2023/24 season with Arbroath the visitors to the SMiSA Stadium.
Saints are looking to kickstart their cup campaign after a 1-0 loss to Montrose at Links Park on Saturday. New signing Stav Nahmani is in line to make his St Mirren debut after receiving his visa and training with the first team squad this week.
Arbroath got their Viaplay Cup up and running last night with a 1-1 draw against Lowland League side Cowdenbeath at Gayfield. The Red Lichties took the bonus point after a 4-3 win on penalties.

Saints were defeated 1-0 by Arbroath in the opening match of last year's Viaplay Cup. Dylan Paterson's injury time goal gave Dick Campbell's side the win in Group E.
That was the first time the two had faced each other since April 2003 when Saints defeated the Red Lichties 1-0 at Love Street in the old First Division.
The only other meeting of the two in the League Cup was back in 1990 with Tomas Stickroth scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win for Saints.
