It's third versus fourth in the cinch Premiership on Saturday as Saints travel to Tynecastle to face Hearts.
The Jambos leapfrogged Saints in the table by virtue of goal difference after a shock 2-0 win over league leaders Celtic at Celtic Park on Saturday. First-half goals from Lawrence Shankland and Stephen Kingsley saw Steven Naismith's side win at Celtic Park for the first time since 2009 and move them on to 26 points.
Saints picked up a point at home to Motherwell following a goalless draw at The SMiSA Stadium on Saturday. It maintained our good run of form at home with five wins, three draws and just one defeat from our nine home league matches so far this season.

Previous
St Mirren came out on top in the only meeting between the two sides so far this season. Ryan Strain's first-half goal was enough to secure a 1-0 win for Saints, who also had three goals disallowed, at The SMiSA Stadium in September.
The Buddies were victorious the last time we visited Tynecastle with Curtis Main and Alex Gogic scoring in a 2-0 win back in April. That was our first win in Gorgie since 2013.
In the four meetings between the two sides last season, Saints won one, drew two and lost one - all of which came in this calendar year.
