St Mirren return to action this weekend as we get set to host League One side Queen of the South in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup.
Stephen Robinson's men welcome the Doonhamers to The SMiSA Stadium in the Fourth Round of the competition. Having entered at this stage, this is Saints' first Scottish Cup match this season. The Buddies defeated Dundee in the Fourth Round last season before exiting with a defeat away to eventual winners Celtic in the Fifth Round.
Queen of the South defeated Championship leaders Dundee United at Palmerston in the Third Round to reach this stage. Marvin Bartley's side defeated the Arabs 4-3 on penalties after a 2-2 draw in normal time. Ex-Saint Gavin Reilly was on the scoresheet for the Doonhamers as they progressed.

Previous
This is the first time the two sides have met since a League Cup encounter at Palmerston in October 2020. Queen of the South shocked Saints by running into a 2-0 lead early on, but second-half goals from Jamie McGrath and Marcus Fraser saw the Buddies come back to draw 2-2.
Our last home match against Queen of the South came at The SMiSA Stadium in February 2018 when Liam Smith and Harry Davis scored in a 2-0 Saints win in our Championship winning season.
The Buddies have won four of the last five matches against the Doonhamers, with our last defeat coming at The SMiSA Stadium in January 2017 when Queen of the South won 3-0.
Ryan Flynn was in the Saints side that faced Queen of the South the last time we faced them at The SMiSA Stadium back in 2018
