The Opposition
Celtic suffered their first league defeat of the season on Thursday as they lost 3-0 against rivals Rangers at Ibrox. It was a first domestic defeat for Brendan Rodgers' men since March last year and saw their lead at the top of the William Hill Premiership cut to 11 points.
The Glasgow side have won their last five home league matches with the last two before 2025 seeing them defeat both St Johnstone and Motherwell by 4-0 scorelines.
Celtic were victorious in the only meeting of the two sides this season, with the Hoops winning 3-0 at The SMiSA Stadium back in August.
Saints' last victory at Celtic Park came in January 2021 when goals from Kristian Dennis and Ilkay Durmus saw us win 2-1 in Glasgow.
