Visitor Information

  • Electronic Ticketing System

At the SMiSA Stadium we have an electronic ticketing system in place at the turnstiles.

The process of using the system is fairly straight-forward and easy to use:

    • On entering the turnstile you will see the ticket reader.
    • Place your match ticket (with the barcode or QR code facing upwards) or smartcard – into the aperture
    • Once the ticket/smartcard is accepted into the system the green light will illuminate and an audio alert will sound after which you should hear the turnstile being unlocked
    • Push the turnstile gate and enter the stadium as you normally would.

The whole process will only take a few seconds.

Please note that there will be stewards in attendance to help where required.

  • Street Parking on Matchday

The Club has been made aware of problems occasioned by inconsiderate parking in the area of Tannahill Road.

Seemingly supporters are parking despite the presence of double yellow lines and as a consequence local bus routes are also being blocked because streets in this area are narrow and fans are parking on both sides. People, many of whom are elderly, are having to walk from Greenhill Road to their homes because buses can’t get access.

Residents who have cars parked in driveways are experiencing similar difficulties getting their vehicles in and out. On being approached by local residents some supporters have been somewhat aggressive which could lead to confrontation.

St Mirren Football Club strives to be a good neighbour and we would ask that ALL supporters attending the stadium not only park in accordance with local parking restrictions but also give consideration to the needs of local residents by parking sensibly so as not to occasion an unnecessary obstruction.

  • Picking Up & Dropping Off by Car on Match Day

We are also aware of problems with patrons parking at the front of the Main Stand to pick up disabled supporters at the end of the game. This area is a 'no parking' zone on match days (with cones on the road) and has to be kept clear for emergency access. It is an inappropriate location for disabled spectator uplifts, as not only does it cause an obstruction on the road, it also causes a danger to pedestrians leaving the stadium.

Please note that the designated pick-up/drop off points are either in Drums Avenue or the two lay-byes on Ferguslie Park Avenue.

  • Finding the SMiSA Stadium

  • Getting to the SMiSA Stadium

Follow signs for Paisley & Glasgow Airport. Exit the M8 at Junction 29 (St James’ Interchange) which is just after Glasgow Airport turn off if travelling east to west. Follow this road and after a sharp right hand bend you should now be in Greenock Road. Then take your first right on to Clark Street and drive to the end of the street which is the junction with Greenhill Road, turn left and you will see the stadium on the opposite side of the road.

From there you can get train to Paisley St James or if you prefer to walk the following routes are advised by the police:

Hartlepool United match cancelled

We regret to confirm that Tuesday night's match against Hartlepool United has been cancelled.

This comes after Hartlepool informed us this afternoon that due to unforeseen circumstances they cannot fulfil the fixture.

Clearly this is a disappointing situation that is outwith the club's control.

We apologise for any inconvenience this will cause. Anyone that purchased a ticket at the ticket office will have to visit the ticket office in person to receive their refund. Anyone that purchased a ticket online will have their refund processed in the coming days.

St Mirren end training camp with win over Linfield

St Mirren rounded off their training camp in Northern Ireland with a win over Linfield at Windsor Park.

Alex Greive and Jonah Ayunga netted first-half goals as Stephen Robinson's men followed up Monday night's 3-0 win over Crusaders with victory over the NIFL Premiership champions.

It took the Buddies just 90 seconds to hit the front when Greive capped off a well-worked move. The New Zealand international was on hand to knock Ayunga's ball across into the net from close-range.

Linfield loanee Daniel Finlayson - who completed his temporary move from the Paisley Saints to Linfield last month - levelled for the home side on 19 minutes. The defender slotted home after being teed up by Stephen Fallon.

Saints re-took the lead on 37 minutes when Jonah Ayunga smashed home a stunning strike from inside the area. And the English forward could have notched his second three minutes later when he sent a free header over from close-range.

It was Ayunga who came closest to extending Saints lead in the second-half. He showed great footwork to fashion the chance but cracked the effort off the bar with substitute Lewis Jamieson slamming the rebound wide.

Trevor Carson made a big save in the dying minutes to deny Chris McKee and ensure Saints would go home with two wins in the bag.

Comfortable win for St Mirren in first pre-season test

St Mirren began their pre-season schedule with a comfortable win over Crusaders at the Seaview Stadium.

Lewis Jamieson and Mark O'Hara scored within four minutes of each other in the first-half to put St Mirren 2-0 ahead at the break. Kieran Offord then added a third 10 minutes into the second-half to round off a good night's work for Stephen Robinson's men.

The friendly formed the testimonial match for Crusaders' long-serving player Paul Heatley with the Saints squad forming a guard of honour for the 35-year-old.

O'Hara almost put the Buddies in-front on seven minutes but saw his 20 yard strike crack off the post. Trevor Carson made a terrific one-handed stop just before the half hour mark with the Northern Ireland international at full-stretch to turn a Crusaders header away.

Saints took the lead on 37 minutes when Jamieson showed great instincts to follow up and knock home after Fraser Taylor's initial strike was pushed into his path by goalkeeper Jonny Tuffey. Four minutes later St Mirren added a second when O'Hara headed in from close-range.

Saints added a third on 55 minutes when Offord finished neatly beyond the Crusaders goalkeeper after a latching on to a brilliant pass from Jonah Ayunga.

Jamieson was unlucky not to grab his second on 78 minutes when he saw an effort come off the post and with five minutes remaining Greg Kiltie was denied by a good save from the Crusaders trialist goalkeeper.

All in all it was a good night's work for Stephen Robinson's men with players getting vital minutes into their legs as well as number of young players given the opportunity to impress.

Full-Time: Crusaders 0-3 St Mirren

First-half team: Carson, Strain, Gallagher, Kenny, Tait, Erhahon, Taylor, O'Hara, Jamieson, Henderson, Greive
Second-half team: Urminsky, Fraser, Campbell, Shaughnessy, Tanser, Flynn, Reid, Kiltie, Ayunga, Henderson, Offord

The Story Behind #OurStrip

At St Mirren Football Club we are proud to call the town, the fans, the history, the colours and the community 'ours'.

#OurStrip #OurTown

As a fan owned club, the local community and our supporters are at the heart of everything we do with members of SMiSA having the opportunity to vote on our strips for the upcoming season.

This includes the town that we are so proud to represent, Paisley. Paisley has a great history and this year we will represent that legacy with the iconic Paisley pattern detailed on the strip.

The Paisley pattern originated in India over 2000 years ago and became fashionable as a design on shawls in the 16th century. However, it wasn’t until the 19th century that Paisley was adopted as the modern name for the design. Our town became the leading producer of the Kashmir style shawls and the name became synonymous with Paisley. The first shawls woven in Paisley were made around 1808, and by 1850 there were over 7000 weavers in the town.

The design is used around the world in many leading fashion houses and now we are proud that our first team, women’s team and academies will be wearing it on the pitch while our fans wear it in the stands.

St Mirren are proud of our heritage within Paisley, and it is fitting that we represent the town through our strips.

#OurLegends

Over the years St Mirren has had the privilege of working with some legends on and off the pitch. Three of these iconic legends are Steven Thompson, Hugh Murray and Tony Fitzpatrick who between them boast over 1,100 appearances for the Saints.

We are proud to have them represent the club and give their support to the launch of the 2022/23 strips.

#OurSponsors

Digby Brown are sponsoring the strips for all teams for the 2022/23 season. Digby Brown align with our values, supporting and working with the local community is a fundamental part of their mission and we are proud to have them on #OurStrips.

#OurCommunity

We are working closely with the local community to engage more fans and visitors to the stadium in the 22/23 season. We are working with community groups and primary schools to introduce St Mirren to a new generation of supporters.

Retaining the three stands is the first step in our commitment to ensuring that we are encouraging and supporting future generations to support the team, support the local community and become proud to be part of #OurStMirren.

Keanu Baccus agrees two-year deal

St Mirren Football Club can confirm that Keanu Baccus has agreed a two-year deal with the club.

With clearance received from the Scottish Football Association, he will join up with Stephen Robinson’s squad once necessary visa approval is completed in Australia.

Keanu is a talented 24-year-old midfielder capped by Australia at U23 level.

The midfielder joined Western Sydney Wanderers during the 2014/15 season after spells in his youth at Parklea FC, Fairfield Hotspurs, Blacktown Spartans and Blacktown City.

In 2016/17, Keanu made his A-League debut for the Wanderers against Perth Glory.

Since then, he has gone on to make over 100 appearances in the A-League as well as featuring in the prestigious AFC Champions League.

Keanu has also been capped by Australia at U20 and U23 level – representing his country at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

The club hopes that Keanu will be able to join the squad in Belfast as part of their pre-season camp.

St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson said: "Keanu will provide a real energy and quality to the team.

He’s a real athlete and gets about the pitch well. We believe he can go on to be a full Australian international.

"He’s young but he’ll bring a lot of good qualities and will enhance, not just our team, but the Scottish game."
